The West Jefferson Business Council is an organization that will work to foster and enhance a climate of support and advocacy to the business community for the long term economic well being of West Jefferson.
It is a division of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce and meets on the third Monday of every month at 8:30 a.m. at the MustardSeed Cafe. All business owners and community members are welcome.
The WJBC puts on the West Jefferson Farmer's Market each summer. For more information on the farmers market, click here.
In 2012, the WJBC adopted the Heritage Ohio model for organization and structure. Heritage Ohio is a historic preservation and Main Street organization that fosters economic development and sustainability through preservation of historic buildings, revitalization of downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts and promotion of cultural tourism.
